General Conference Information

"The Future of Science Teaching & Learning"

KSTA made the strategic decision, based on CDC guidelines and with the input of our membership, to host our Annual Conference virtually! We are excited to present curated sessions facilitated by experienced presenters, with special guests, vendors, and times for sharing and connecting with other science educators across Kentucky! Full details and a session schedule will be available soon, so check back here for evolving conference information.
 Educators: $120

Teachers/Coaches/Administrators/Higher Ed. Faculty

Must be a current KSTA member to register and attend the conference

Current Members: you will be directed to log into your profile to register.

Non-Members: join KSTA with a 1-year membership for only $25!

 Students: $40

Pre-service teaching students

Includes a free 1-year KSTA membership!

What to expect at the conference:

  • Experience a variety of sessions for P-20 teachers and faculty each day
  • Meet newly appointed Education Commissioner Dr. Jason Glass in a special opening session, with introduction by Dr. Stephen Pruitt
  • Special guests including Page Keeley (more to be announced!)
  • Explore science resources and services during two live Vendor Showcase presentations
  • Connect and build relationships with science education colleagues in our open chats and virtual 'registration table'
  • Keynote address by Philip Bell

Attendees will receive PD credit for participation. Please check with your administration to ensure they will allow this conference as hours toward your PD requirements.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations and refund requests must be received in writing by December 31, 2020. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made after this date regardless of registration date or for no-shows. Refunds will be issued within 45 days after the conference, and a $15 processing fee will be deducted. Substitutions from the same district/school/organization will be accepted in writing without penalty. Send requests to kstajle@gmail.com.
